Read Letter from Mission of Love Founder, Kathy Price

To realize one's destiny is a person's only obligation.

Oh what a year of true successes in servicing our Indigenous Maya and Lakota Indians of America and Guatemala. Words and photos cannot even begin to convey the love, hope, healing, and compassion that has been generated by our God’s Mission of Love. I hope that you will take the time to read the 2019 yearly Mission of Love newsletter. Our Mission of Love volunteers share their experiences and sacrifice via their words in our yearly newsletter.

Everyday in every way, (31 years) I network, plan, sort, purchase, palletize, and obtain humanitarian aid for the Indigenous communities of our world. This is no easy task considering I have no secretary, warehouse personal, no money, a donated van with many miles for pick ups, no utilities in our Mission of Love warehouse and multiple health issues.

2019 was one that fulfilled many dreams, fed thousands of people, built many homes, equipped many Maya schools, equipped Maya Hospitals, transported over 300,000 thousands of pounds of humanitarian aid via Denton Air Force and 53’ trailers, serviced hundreds of dying, ill, deformed, disabled, orphaned, elder, and homeless indigenous people. We also donated a school bus for the education of solar panels on the Pine Ridge Native American Indian Reservation,S.D. to Henry Red Cloud, Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center.

Our plans for 2020 are: to send three Denton Department of Defense airlifts, two for Guatemala and one for Honduras, two 53 foot trailers of building material and humanitarian aid will be transported 1200 miles to Pine Ridge Native American Indian Reservation, Indigenous Family homes will be built, a traditional Maya school, and support for a Lakota Foster Home. With your help these indigenous missions can be accomplished.

I am sharing with you some of the questions I get ask as I volunteer my life to be of service. “Why do you help those people? What do you do to help the people here?  Are you born again Kathy?"

My answer is simply, "God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I shall do good. I shall do His work if I do but keep His commandments and serve Him in my calling. Thy Will Be Done!

I am grateful to each and everyone of you who believe, support, trust, contribute, and acknowledge our grass roots International Mission of Love.

With love and gratitude,

Kathy Price / Mission of Love Volunteer, Founder, and Director since 1989
