Re Lakota Circle Village School

On 30th July there will be a grand opening of the  Lakota Circle Village, an innovative school on Pine Ridge Reservation. This school, the brainchild of Leonard Littlefinger, will fill a great need as Native Americans struggle to identify with their past as it provides students with an immersion in the Lakota language, and teaches about Lakota culture equally with the skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic.

This unique school would not have come into being without a great deal of assistance from the Mission of Love and it's founder, Kathleen Price, who came in to assist Leonard and his local supporters.

The Mission of Love salvages many objects that would otherwise be tossed into the dump. Most of us waste so much, buying more than we need, and throwing out stuff that is desperately needed by those who are less fortunate. Kathy Price and Mission of Love work to reduce this needless waste and their efforts have helped many.

Thanks to the Mission of Love, students and teachers of Lakota Circle Village now have a beautiful new school and items that seem without value to some are lovingly restored and will be used and valued by eager students and teachers.

Thank you, Kathy. Thank you Leonard. Together you and all those who have helped are truly making a difference. Congratulations!

Yours sincerely,
